Elly joined the Jasmin Vardimon Company in January 2022 as Learning & Participation Coordinator. She is responsible for coordinating the training programmes: JV2 Professional Development Diploma and JVIntensive. She completes a diverse range of tasks to support participants in their training and development to become versatile and multi-disciplinary performers.
Previous/Other Experience:
Elly is a socially engaged artist, dancer, performer and workshop facilitator. Her sensory practice explores participatory art, performance and installation using multiple mediums in various spaces and situations. She has experience of dancing in many styles such as contemporary, salsa and swing, which she combines with performance techniques such as improvisation and site-specific. She has facilitated workshops, projects and performed with organisations such as Whitechapel Gallery, Barbican Centre, Tate Modern, Creative Folkestone, People United and Spare Tyre. Elly has an MA in Performance Design & Practice (2020) from University of the Arts London: Central Saint Martins and BA in Fine Art from Kingston School of Art (2018).
