Support a JV2 Student
One way to really support our outreach programme is to co-fund a place for a young dancer on one of training programmes so they can fulfil their potential, regardless of their economic background.
Each of these bursaries will be invested in developing and nurturing young talent through Jasmin Vardimon Company’s Professional Development Programme the aim of which is to develop participants into versatile performers with skills in a range of performance disciplines, under the guidance of one of the world’s leading female choreographers.
Every year we train exceptional young dancers at the start of their careers, guiding them through our unique Professional Development Diploma.
Within 5 years of graduating, 85% of all JV2 Participants have found work in the creative arts and education sectors as performers, choreographers and teachers, as well as working in production and other occupations within the sector.
29% of all JV2 Graduates have or are working for the company.
'JV2 has played a major role in my training and growth as a person and as an artist. Since graduating, I have received enormous support from Jasmin Vardimon Company, for which I am very grateful, and have gone on to work for them as a performer, education facilitator and choreographer for JV2.'
André Rebelo (former JV2 student and company dancer)
'As we move further towards the opening of JVCs exciting new state of the art building in Ashford, Kent County Council is delighted to make a commitment to the development of both a student and a choreographer within the JV2 programme through these bursaries and we look forward to following their development journey with the company.'
Michael Hill, OBE, Cabinet Member for Community and Regulatory Services at Kent County Council
'I wanted to do JV2 because it was just perfect, the combination of dancing and physical theatre really gave me a reason to want to dance. I have just received the McArthur Glen Ashford Designer Outlet bursary. Without the bursary, I would have had to work every evening after class to help fund my position here. Now I have the bursary, which I’m really grateful for, I can now focus on this.'
George Perez (JV2 2021)
'We have a long-standing relationship with Jasmin Vardimon Company and the bursary is something we are immensely proud to support. We look forward to seeing the talented students and how they develop further'

'We are delighted to offer the bursary for a young talent to realise their full potential under the encouragement and guidance of Jasmin Vardimon. We particularly want the bursary to go to a student from East Kent who has financial barriers preventing them from embarking on the Professional Diploma JV2 course. As a business we are committed to assisting young people achieve their goals in whatever role they choose and firmly believe that by providing the bursary, it will enable a student to maximise their full potential. We are extremely excited at the prospect of following the student’s progress over the next two years.'
