The Jasmin Vardimon Company Associate Schools Programme launched as a pilot programme in 2021-2023 with six secondary schools in Ashford. After a successful pilot, the programme for 2023-2025 has since expanded to eight secondary schools across Kent.
The mutually beneficial programme sees teachers meeting with the Creative Learning team at Jasmin Vardimon Company four times per academic year at JV H.O.M.E. The Associate Schools form part of a local network of dance and drama teachers with support on embedding Jasmin Vardimon Company in the curriculum. Associate Schools assist in shaping the offers of the Company, and receive discounts and advanced knowledge of Creative Learning opportunities including specialised projects, sharings, and much more.
The Lead Associate School is Towers School & Sixth Form Centre. The Lead School assists in planning and developing the Associate Schools Programme as well as drawing together an evaluation of each year.
Currently, applications are closed for 2023-2025, however applications will open in 2025 for the 2025-2027 programme. The Associate Schools Programme is for secondary schools in Kent and Medway. The school must have teachers committed to attending meetings and participating in associated activities. Schools do not need to have a dance department to be involved; dance, drama and school club teachers are welcome.
