Canvas by Jasmin Vardimon MBE
Originally created as an immersive performance, Canvas is a work that keeps transforming, using movement as brush strokes to draw a new engaging picture. Using Jasmin Vardimon Company repertoire it explores how group dynamics evolve, give rise and sometimes swallow individuals within it. This year we’re presenting a new version of Canvas, created for the stage.
Power in Numbers by Vivian Triantafyllopoulou
This work explores in episodes how power dynamics shift. Through expressive physicality, we search for power within rage, position, community, and weakness. Drawing from psychology, politics, and emotion studies, this piece is centered in our shared humanity. It asks: Who holds power in society, and what happens when we find it together or deep within ourselves?
AREUM by YunkYung Song
AREUM (Beauty), a movement-based piece inspired by the Korean word 아름 (Areum), meaning beauty. The performance explores the idea that true beauty comes from being oneself, rather than conforming to societal expectations. The central theme of the piece is identity and self-acceptance. The work contrasts conformity with individuality, showing how external pressure can suppress personal expression. The title AREUM reflects inner beauty, aligning with the Korean meaning of beauty. The most beautiful human being is being yourself.
