A Triple Bill by Northern Rascals, David Lloyd & Jasmin Vardimon MBE

Talented, young, international dancers from JV2 premiered exciting new works by Jasmin Vardimon Company associates Northern Rascals & David Lloyd. The triple bill culminated with (in between) choreographed by multi-award-winning Jasmin Vardimon MBE.

(in between), originally created for the National Youth Dance Company, premiered at Sadler’s Wells in 2013. It was later revived in 2018 and now in 2024-2025 on the exceptionally talented JV2 cohort. Trapped in flux between the force of the group and the power of the individual, the work echoes relationships between humans and the natural environment.

Our Bodies, A Cursor is a powerful dance-theatre piece that explores memory, identity, and the stories that shape us. On a dimly lit stage, bodies stand—searching, waiting, caught in an unfinished narrative. They try to reclaim a lost thread as time distorts and memories fracture. We search for truth in the echoes of our past.

Blending haunting soundscapes, poetic text, and visceral movement, Our Bodies, A Cursor is a meditation on grief, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of meaning.

This is a tale of loss, remembrance, and the refusal to let the story end.
