JV2 2018 Tour Now On Sale!

The JV2 2018 tour is now on sale, presenting a triple bill with works by Jasmin Vardimon, Yunkyung Song and André Rebelo.

Rejoicing in youth culture has always been at the heart of the JV2 programme and their 2018 triple bill is no exception. This electrifying new production celebrates the intrinsically fresh approach of two emerging choreographers, in collaboration with the vast experience of the multi-award winning choreographer Jasmin Vardimon.

The established JV2 Professional Development Diploma was developed by Jasmin Vardimon Company, with the mission to encourage, cultivate and nurture young talent and young audiences.

This year’s JV2 are an ensemble of 15 international bright new talent; hand-picked by Artistic Director Jasmin Vardimon.

JV2 2018 showcases works created by Yunkyung Song and André Rebelo. The triple bill will culminate in a performance of Jasmin Vardimon’s (In between), originally created for the National Youth Dance Company and premiered at Sadler’s Wells in 2013. NEW Pinocchio digital resource coming soon!

As part of our mission to develop education within the performing arts, we are preparing a digital resource, which will be released during early 2018!

Perfect for GCSE, A-Level and Higher Education students, this digital resource will present the Creative Minds Symposium, held at Sadler’s Wells, London in October 2017.  Nine contemporary thinkers were invited from various disciplines and backgrounds to analyse the performance of Pinocchio, followed by audience contributions through a Q&A at the end of the session.

This resource provides a deep insight into possible interpretations, whilst focusing on the key themes within this classic fairytale. In order to encourage students to develop their own understanding, the discussion will be accompanied by rarely seen rehearsal footage and recorded sections of the performance.  Combine this with the Free Education Pack and the Pinocchio DVD/USB for a complete and diverse package of educational tools.

We are also currently offering a 10% discount on Pinocchio workshops, for those who download the education pack and book their workshop before 31st March 2018.

The Creative Minds Symposium will be available to view online from early next year, so keep an eye on our website for more details, in the meantime if you have any queries or would like more information please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
