AUDITION NOTICE: The Royal Opera - Tannhauser by Wagner
THE ROYAL OPERA

The Royal Opera wishes to cast 12 dancers (6 male/6 female) for the above new production next season.
• Rehearsals will begin on Monday 18 October 2010.
• The final dress rehearsal is on Wednesday 8 December at 11.00.
• There are 7 performances at 18.30 on December 11, 15, 19 (nb 15.00), 22, 27, 30, January 2 (nb 15.00).
Auditions will take place on Friday 4 June at the Dominion Theatre on Tottenham Court Road in central London with a recall on Saturday 5 June at the Royal Opera House. Entrance to the Dominion Theatre is by the main theatre foyer, not the stage door.
We are looking for mature, experienced, versatile performers with strong physicality.
If you wish to audition, please check first that you are available for the above period and send an email to dermot.agnew@roh.org.uk
Jasmin Vardimon will see candidates throughout the day so you will be given a specific time to attend on Saturday 4 June.
We advise you to familiarise yourself with Jasmin`s choreographic style before auditioning.
The recall on Saturday 5 June will be 10.00-18.00 for which you will need to be available all day.
